Windows Client – 1.0.0.9 – Plugin Improvements and Bug Fixes

Features

  • Control Panel – Added visible display of MonitoringClient service status
  • CrashPlan – Added metadata for the percent of a backup set completed
  • Added automatic updating of version number on Update to install/uninstall window

Changes

  • Removed leftover error handling code in plugins that is now being handled by the generic error handling class
  • Removed metadata adding log message that was leftover from debugging
  • Removed automatic extended run and made it an optional checkbox in Control Panel
  • Added being unable to communicate with a service to generic error handling
  • Added quota violation to generic error handling (WMI issue)
  • CrashPlan – Added temporary leniency to CrashPlan incomplete backup alerts. <90% Alert. 90-100% warning. Temporary until we can display name of missing backup files

Bug Fixes

  • Battery
    • Increased accuracy for differentiating between desktops and laptops
    • Improvements when unable to parse battery report log file
    • Fixed rounding error rounding to the tens rather than tenths
  • Windows Update – Improvements to status of automatic updates
  • CrashPlan – Changed reporting on incomplete backups until a day after the last successful backup occurs (CrashPlan will sometimes hold completion at 99.99~% for a few minutes but backup is complete)
  • Removed unused LastExtendedRun registry key
  • Fixed issue with uninstall icon not being updated on 32-bit machines
