Mac Client 6.6.1 – Improves FileVault, LightSpeed, and SMART

  • SMART Reporting can be set to exclude specific disks by serial number.
  • TimeMachineEditor 5 added to our list of compatible time machine schedulers.
  • Updated Malware definitions.
  • New FileVault reporting options surfaced in the PreferencePane

  • Improved CrashPlan reporting for per-user deployments.
  • Improved reporting when CrashPlan reporting tolerance is set to alert in 1 day.
  • Improved support for SSDs which are not yet supported by smartctl. (NVMe support coming soon.)
  • Mac-MSP URLs removed from printed PDFs
  • Disables the LightSpeed Webstore plugin.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved an issue where some volumes were not available for selection in Presence or Capacity warnings.
  • Improved support for reporting when a Mac has no serial number (after a bad logic board repair, etc)
  • Improved logging of our own Beacon Reporting process.
