Mac Client 7.1.4.116 Support for M4 Hardware Reporting

Watchman Monitoring is happy to announce the release of agent 7.1.4.116 for macOS.

This release includes support for M4-based hardware and other bug fixes.

Features

  • Add support for M4 processor and RAM speed reporting.
  • Skip reporting Daylite status when there is no logged-in user.
  • Prevent bash scripts from loading the local environment.

Changes

  • Improved logging and validation to the auto-update process.

Fixes

  • Fixed text layout in the Preferences/Settings Pane Removal confirmation window.
  • Prevent tracebacks on old/invalid Jamf installations

About the Update Process

  • This release will automatically deploy Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. 
  • The auto-update process will apply to computers as they perform their hourly check-in.
