Windows Client – 1.0.1.4 – More Plugins and Support for Beacon

Features

  • Support for Beacon Reporting
  • Custom Plugin support added 
  • Printer Plugin – New plugin that reports on available printers, their current job counts, error states, and if any documents have been stuck in queue.
  • Control Panel – Added ability to start the Monitoring Client service when it is either paused or stopped through the Control Panel
  • CrashPlan – Now reports last 10 failed files if backup was almost complete but not finished (90-99.99%)

Changes

  • Mozy Plugin now warns if it sees that it has attempted a backup and failed
  • Changed the strings and button on the Operations panel to be more descriptive.
  • Large cleanup (adding, removing, and editing) of log files on all plugins.
  • Added extra detail for Office Version 14 (2010)
  • Update reporting of exit code value in Windows Backup plugin
  • CrashPlan plugin will alert if service is paused
  • Send warning if Office is running under Grace period

Bug Fixes

  • Removed ability to click on Report Status button on Control Panel when Monitoring Client is reporting regardless of how report was started (prevent hanging the process)
  • Fixed Users Plugin never showing password expirations as true
  • Fixed Firewall Plugin issue where it would report firewalls that are enabled but warn that no firewalls were enabled
  • Fixed issue where Office would get confused on which license to report if multiple licenses were available at the same time (LICENSED and GRACE)
  • Fixed issue where Windows Backup would not report if the add new users to backup option was disabled
  • Fixed issue where Last Image Backup would never report
  • Fixed issue where backup device could report as having 0 maximum space which would cause a divide by zero error in Windows Backup
  • Contact Menu is now force stopped when Monitoring Client is uninstalled
  • Fixed CrashPlan never reporting if the account that installed CrashPlan is different than the user accounts used
